Teachers

"Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and love of Maths with our school's community. You are inspirational and make learning maths fun and achievable." Head teacher, St Aidan's Primary, Stroud Green, London.

"Many thanks for an excellent and inspirational morning. Our group of headteachers went away with a renewed passion for maths." Primary maths consultant, Hampshire.

"Lots of ideas to use in the classroom - cross-curricular - Interesting and fun! Loved it."  Maths teacher, MEI Conference

I've done numerous workshops and INSET days for teachers, working with groups of anywhere between five and 150 teachers. These can be for a single school, or combined events for teachers from several schools. It's normal for an event to be either primary or secondary, but sometimes it works well to have a combined audience of the two, especially for Key Stage 2 and 3 where there is so much overlap.

My teacher INSET workshops can be anything from 30-minute afternoon sessions to a day (the longest would be 9:30am - 3:30pm). All of the listed sessions can be adapted for both duration and size of audience.

I also do sessions for Parents, which can be during school time or after-school.  When done as family 'Maths on the Go' or 'Maths, Magic & Mystery' events these often attract 25-50 parents - a lot more than the handful of parents who typically turn up for a maths workshop.
